ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategy/Media Relations
  • Manage core day-to-day media relations

Manager, Video Production/ Video Producer

JOB SUMMARY:

The Video Producer will be joining one of the fastest growing beauty companies in the industry. He/she will report into the Director, Video Production to create high-end, engaging videos for our digital, social and retail partner platforms. He/She will be responsible for projects from pre-production through delivery and will work with cross-functional teams and third party vendors to lead the successful production of our videos.

We want a multi-talented Producer who understands the art of storytelling and connecting with an audience. The perfect candidate will be able to balance the creative, technical, strategic and organizational skills required in video production. The candidate should have past video work examples to showcase their talents.

We’re looking for someone who has the ability to truly drive a project forward and reflect the brand mission through every video project. He/She thrives in a fast paced, collaborative environment and should be enthusiastic about current trends in both video and the beauty industry.

Key Responsibilities: (Outlined below but not limited to):

  • Lead selected video projects through all phases of production from concept and pre-production through post-production and delivery.
  • Oversee editors and motion graphic artists on projects including both internal resources and external partners
  • Conduct research for upcoming projects and present production plans. This includes developing concepts, pitching projects, and working on mood boards.
  • Engage external production companies and agencies on selected projects: create project briefs, oversee bidding process, negotiate contracts and manage agency through full production process.
  • Manage shoot and editorial budgets for projects:
  • Create prelim project budgets for internal partners for projection purposes
  • Create RFP’s for projects, identify appropriate production partners based on budget and creative and then oversee bidding process.
  • Responsible to ensure project comes in on budget. Candidate must have a full understanding of all production expenses and be able to quickly problem-solve logistical and creative production issues as they arise on set and impact bottom line.
  • Break down scripts and create shot lists for shoots
  • Work with Talent Agencies to conduct casting sessions and book models for shoots
  • Schedule & manage internal and external resources for shoots including Director, Director of Photography, Stylists, Makeup, Hair Stylists, Editors, etc.
  • Create equipment rental lists and work with Project Manager for any required rentals
  • Manage all vendor agreements, talent agreements, crew agreements and clearance rights for projects. Coordinate with Legal Department on all necessary paperwork and negotiate terms with vendors, crew and talent as needed. For both internal and external partners, ensure all proper Talent Agreements, Crew Agreements, Clearances and Music Licensing are secured and properly archived.
  • Shoot, edit and package snackable content for social media platforms as needed
  • Ensure all videos are executed to brand best practices and standards

Essential Skills:

  • Exceptional video storytelling skills and ability to captivate viewers
  • Demonstrated ability to produce and manage multiple projects at once
  • Experience with all aspects of video production from shooting, lighting, editing, and on set direction

The AVP of Digital Marketing, CRM and Loyalty is responsible for conceptualizing, developing and overseeing the execution of short and long-term omnichannel/digital, loyalty and data-driven customer relationship marketing strategies. Reporting to the VP of Digital, this person will be the in-house expert on customer data, data architecture and new ways of executing CRM & Loyalty.

Job duties include but are not limited to the following::

  • Develop, execute, and measure a series of effective demand generation programs that positively affect customer interaction, conversion rate optimization, revenue, and profitability. These might include SEO, SEM, content marketing, online marketing, social media, events, and an effective combination of these initiatives.
  • Create specific campaigns leveraging a variety of different vehicles (including e-mail, digital engagement, etc.) and then refine demand based upon the results of each activity in each market
  • Set goals and objectives for the year, quarter, and month-by-month for new prospects and leads to customer conversion. Include KPIs on all marketing efforts and report progress to all constituents on a regular basis.

  • Develop testing strategies for all aspects of the CRM to ensure the most effective approach for It Cosmetics, its products, and customer relevance and response rates.
  • Work with VP and Marketing on Customer Journey Mapping (across platforms: site, social, affiliates, etc.), analyzing all touch points.
  • Optimize and increase capture rate both in store and digitally/online through, digital marketing, CRM & Loyalty initiatives and data capture strategies, including at point of sale, white label, and development of tablet programs

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years CRM and/or digital marketing experience
  • College Degree
  • Strong computer skills necessary (All Microsoft Office programs) Experience in CRM and related work experience which demonstrates an understanding of and skill in direct-to-consumer marketing principles
