Love IT: Our Best CC+ Cream Foundation For Full-Coverage

There’s a time and place for sheer coverage, but sometimes you need to call in the big guns—in other words, the best full-coverage foundation you can find. Maybe you want to hide the fact that you didn’t catch quite enough beauty sleep last night, or perhaps your goal is to cover stubborn acne blemishes. No matter your skin concern, IT Cosmetics’ Your Skin But Better™ CC+ Cream with SPF 50+ will help ensure you walk out the door looking nothing less than radiant. What’s more: It’ll deliver that full-coverage, even-looking complexion in just a few minutes.

Meet IT Cosmetics’ Best Full-Coverage Foundation

The dilemma with many full-coverage foundations is that they can feel heavy, thick, and uncomfortable on your skin. Some can even break you out or create a cakey appearance. That's why our founder, Jamie Kern Lima, created the award-winning, best-selling CC+ Cream. Don't just take our word for it though—five CC+ Creams are sold every minute in the US!*

This multitasking beauty miracle helps flawlessly conceal the look of skin imperfections, including fine lines, wrinkles, redness, scarring, and dark circles. Meanwhile, it doubles as a hydrating, anti-aging serum via a powerful blend of skin-loving ingredients.

Collagen helps support elasticity, peptides reduce the appearance of fine lines, and niacin improves the skin barrier function while tackling the appearance of acne and hyperpigmentation. Oh, and it also boasts an SPF 50+ physical sunscreen, which means it’ll protect your skin from sun damage that can cause cancer and visible signs of aging.

The real proof, though, is in the numbers and accolades. Not only is this IT Girl favorite the #1 CC Cream in the United States, but it has over 20,000 5-star reviews across all points of distribution.**

One recent reviewer writes, “This is the only thing that makes my skin look flawless!” Another says, “I like keeping my makeup routine simple. This is the best foundation I have found in a long time. It provides great coverage, makes my skin feel moisturized, and offers substantial sun protection. Win, win, win.”

How To Apply IT Cosmetics’ CC+ Cream

Application is pretty straightforward. All you need is a bottle of CC+ Cream and a makeup brush that does the work for you.

We recommend the Heavenly Luxe Complexion Perfection Brush #7, an ultra-plush, dual-ended tool that’ll deliver a full-coverage, airbrushed look. If you’re seeking even more coverage, try the Heavenly Luxe Flat Buffing Foundation Brush #6. Its bristles are more densely packed, so it'll pick up and apply more foundation. Once you’ve got your brush and bottle, it’s time to apply.

“Start with half or a full pump [applied] directly on the brush or the back of a clean hand,” says Kirsten Peterson, Senior Regional Education Manager for IT Cosmetics. “Next, begin applying to the center of your face; this is where most of us need more coverage or color correction. Work your way out, buffing and/or stippling.”

She adds that you can use the smaller end of the #7 brush to apply the product to hard-to-reach areas, including under your eyes and the corners around your nose. If you’d still like more coverage, repeat this process. When doing so, focus on building coverage in problem areas and use a lighter touch on other areas. Alternatively—or in addition to the above—you can enlist the help of a concealer.

“Our Bye Bye Under Eye™ Anti-Aging Concealer is a full-coverage concealer, so it’s the ‘eye-deal’ partner for CC+ Cream,” says Peterson. “It will cover everything—including tattoos. Adding it on top of CC+ Cream where you have extra discoloration, dark circles, or blemishes will provide a seamless, full-coverage look.”

The best part is that, like CC+ Cream, it also doubles as skincare. Bye Bye Under Eye contains a blend of skin-loving ingredients—including collagen, cucumber, and hyaluronic acid—to nourish the delicate under-eye area. That also makes it the perfect eyeshadow base. To use, simply warm a tiny amount with your fingers and then gently tap the product onto your skin. You can also blend it out with your preferred makeup brush for a more seamless finish.

Meet the Rest of the CC+ Cream Family

The IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream comes in three finishes—Original, Oil-Free, and Illumination—to accommodate your specific skin needs and concerns.

The original formulation is ideal for dry and combination skin types, whereas CC+ Cream Oil-Free Matte with SPF 40 is better for those with oily and/or acne-prone skin. It's infused with charcoal to absorb excess oil and improve the look of impurities and large pores. Meanwhile, tea tree oil's antibacterial powers help combat acne. It still boasts the same full coverage formula and is infused with collagen and peptides to create a smooth appearance.

For those craving some subtle sheen, the CC+ Cream Illumination with SPF 50+ is the way to go. In addition to all those skin-loving ingredients found in Original—including niacin, peptides, hyaluronic acid, and vitamins—it features micronized light-reflecting pigments. That means you get a beautiful, natural glow (without shimmer or glitter!), that instantly blurs the look of skin imperfections.

Pro Tip: You can create a sheer  finish with any IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream. For that glowy, au naturel look, simply mix your CC+ Cream with Confidence in a Cream™ Hydrating Moisturizer before you apply. Start with a ratio of one-to-four, and then add more moisturizer for sheerer coverage.

Clearly, this versatile IT Cosmetics foundation is your key to instant complexion perfection—no matter your concern or skin type!
